Stinger - samochód którego prawie nie ma na naszych droga, a zasługuję na
uwagę.
W trakcie sesji wiele osób podchodziło spytać się co to za marka. Ludzie nie
mogli uwierzyć, że to Kia.
Właściciel auta zadbał aby to nie było takie oczywiste, logotypy zostały
zastąpione emblematami z rynku koreańskiego z literą E. Drobna, a jak
znacząca zmiana. Znawcy marki rozpoznają auto po charakterystycznym grillu,
jednak ci którzy nie śledzą trendów designerskich szukając loga producenta
mogą się zdziwić.

attention.
During the session, many people came to ask what brand it was. People
couldn't believe it was a Kia.
The owner of the car made sure that it was not so obvious, the logos
were replaced with emblems from the Korean market with the letter E. A
small but significant change. Brand experts recognize the car by its
characteristic grill, but those who do not follow design trends looking
for the manufacturer's logo may be surprised.
Gdy zobaczyłem pierwszy raz to auto na własne oczy zauważyłem sporo
ciekawych detali. Co nie jest takie oczywiste we współczesnych samochodach.
Marka, która kojarzy się większości ze zwykłymi środkami transportu do
przemieszczania się z punktu A do B stworzyła tak ciekawe auto. Wygodne
wnętrze, dbałość o detale, dobre właściwości jezdne.

Mając styczność z wieloma autami z różnych kategorii jakoś nie widziałem nigdy potrzeby posiadania pełnej listy wyposażenia. Ze Stingera na pewno bym zabrał fotele, nie dość że dobrze wyprofilowane, z dobrym wykończeniem skórą i alkantarą to jeszcze wyposażone w wentylację lub podgrzewanie. Ta druga opcja bardzo się przydała w trakcie sesji.
Having contact with many cars from different categories, I have never seen the need to have a full list of equipment. But I would definitely take the seats from the Stinger, not only well-profiled, with a good leather and alcantara finish, but also equipped with ventilation or heating. This second option came in very handy during the session.
Termometr pokazywał ok 4'C jednak silny wiatr sprawiał, że odczuwalna
temperatura była bliższa -4'C. Gdybyśmy fotografowali w centrum miasta tak
jak zakładał pierwotny plan to nie było by problemu, budynki by
nas osłoniły od zimnego wiatru. Niestety ochrona obiektu nie pozwoliła nam
fotografować w miejscu pierwotnie wybranym. Pozostało poszukać innego. Tak
wyszło, że najlepsze okazało się to na otwartej przestrzeni przy wodzie.
Wiatr szalał tam do tego stopnia, że obciążony statyw z aparatem zaliczył
wywrotkę. Na szczęście nic się nie stało, odrazu zmieniłem carbonowy statyw
na stary poczciwy aluminiowy manfrotto 055. Stabilny nawet bez dodatkowego
obciążenia na haku. I w ten sposób historia zatoczyła pełne koło. Pierwsze
auto tego właściciela fotografowaliśmy w podobnej lokalizacji jednak przy
dużo lepszej pogodzie. Wtedy była to czarna Honda Civic Coupe, teraz
czerwona KIa Stinger. Civic'a miałem przed obiektywem kilka razy, mam
nadzieję że ze Stingerem będzie podobnie bo polubiłem te linie.
The thermometer showed about 4'C, but the strong wind made it feel
closer to -4'C. If we would photograph in the city center as the
original plan assumed, there would be no problem, the buildings would
protect us from the cold wind. Unfortunately, the security of the
object did not allow us to take pictures in the place originally
chosen. We had to look for another. It turned out that the best turned
out to be in the open space by the water. The wind was so strong that
the loaded tripod with the camera tipped over. Fortunately, nothing
happened, I immediately changed the carbon tripod for an old manfrotto
055 aluminum tripod. Stable even without additional weight on the
hook. And so the story has come full circle. We photographed the first
car of this owner in a similar location, but in much better weather.
Then it was a black Honda Civic Coupe, now a red Kia Stinger. I had
the Civic in front of the lens a few times, I hope it will be similar
with the Stinger because I liked these lines.
