szeroko oczy ze zdziwienia. Jeśli nie to życzę wam jak najwięcej takich
momentów. Moje urosły niczym postaci z kreskówki gdy zobaczyłem jakie cuda
stoją w Classic Remise w Dusseldorfie. Potrzebowałem
kilku chwil aby uświadomić sobie co tak naprawdę mam przed sobą.
Each of us has had a moment in our life when entering a unique interior our eyes open wide with astonishment. If not, I wish you as many moments as possible. Mine grew like cartoon characters when I saw the wonders at Classic Remise in Dusseldorf. It took a few moments to realize what I really had in front of me.
Niektórzy będą się zastanawiać dlaczego, przecież to tylko samochody, w dodatku jakieś starocie. Jeśli traktujesz auto tylko jako środek transportu z punktu A do B to masz rację. Jednak gdy jesteś miłośnikiem design’u motoryzacyjnego i podziwiasz każdą linię, przetłoczenie blachy to taki zbiór może sprawić że wszelkie inne plany przestaną mieć znaczenie. Przeszedłem
każdą alejkę, przesmyk między autami po kilka razy. Najpierw sprawdzając
co jest na miejscu, potem podziwiając poszczególne modele by na końcu zrobić
kilka zdjęć na pamiątkę.
Some will wonder why, after all, these are just cars and some antiques. If you treat the car only as a means of transport from A to B then you are right. However, when you are a fan of automotive design and admire every line, sheet metal embossing is such a collection that can make all other plans meaningless. I walked every alley, gap between cars several times. First, checking what is there, then admiring the individual models, and finally taking a few photos as a souvenir.
Spodziewałem się, że będą ciekawe auta ale nie wiedziałem, że będzie aż tyle wyjątkowych modeli o których spotkaniu nawet nie śniłem. Oglądam duże ilości zdjęć i filmików motoryzacyjnych i znam sporo tych aut z Internetu, jednak doświadczenie na żywo ich piękna to już zupełnie inna bajka. Spotkanie Pagani Huayra byłoby szczytem marzeń, a tu były dwie. Jednak moje serce zabiło jeszcze szybciej przy Alfie Romeo Montreal. Ja wiem, że naprzeciwko stało duże rzadsze i droższe srebrne Ferrari 250 Lusso (zdj poniżej) ale pomarańczowy Montreal był dla mnie autem dnia.
I expected interesting cars but I didn't know that there would be so many unique models that I never dreamed of meeting. I watch a lot of photos and videos of cars and I know a lot of these cars from the Internet, but the live experience of their beauty is a completely different story. Meeting Pagani Huayra would be the pinnacle of my dreams, and here were two. However, my heart beat even faster with the Alfa Romeo Montreal. I know that there was a rarer and more expensive silver Ferrari 250 Lusso opposite (photo below), but the orange Montreal was the car of the day for me.
Wiedziałem że istnieje taki obiekt w Berlinie, nawet
szukałem połączenia aby tam pojechać jednak koszt wyjazdu wydawał mi się
absurdalny. O obiekcie w Dusseldorfie dowiedziałem się przez przypadek będąc w
okolicy i przeglądając Internet w poszukiwaniu ciekawych miejsc do odwiedzenia.
Do dnia dzisiejszego gdy wspominam tamtą wizytę na mojej twarzy rysuje się
uśmiech.
I knew that there was such a facility in Berlin, I even looked for a connection to go there, but the cost of the trip seemed absurd to me. I found out about the facility in Dusseldorf by accident while I was in the area and browsing the Internet in search of interesting places to visit. To this day, when I remember that visit, a smile appears on my face.
